Custom Sizing: At Lori's Wigsite we are able to custom size any wig of your choice!
The cost is only $120 extra for wefted wig caps or $220 for hand-tied wigs.

At the time of purchase, when checking out - under the special instructions section of the online order form, please type in the exact measurements so we may custom size the piece for you. In doing so you authorize us to charge your credit card the $120 or $220 fee for the custom sizing service and alter the wig based on the information you provide.

Follow the instructions below to determine which size wig you will need. The vast majority of women are Average size. If your measurements indicate that you are a Petite, please see our selection of "Petite Cap" wigs. If you need a Large size wig, please see our selection of "Large Cap" wigs.

You will need a cloth tape measure in order to do this properly, For best results, ask someone to assist you.

How to measure your head properly
Features

Step One: Circumference

Starting at the front hairline, hold the beginning of the cloth tape in place. Wrap tape around the head in the same position as the diagram; pull tape snug. This measurement is the circumference of the head.

Step Two: Front to Back

Starting at the front of the hairline, hold the beginning of the tape in place. Place the tape down the middle of the head to back nape area, about one inch below the occipital bone (at the base of the skull). This is the front-to-back measurement of the head.

Step Three: Temple to Temple

Hold beginning of the tape at one side of the head, right at the temple area (usually level with the slit of the eye but back at the temple area). Slide tape across front hairline tightly until it reaches the opposite side of the head, exactly at the same spot as where the other side began. This is the temple-to-temple measurement.

If all three of your measurements do not match exactly to one on the size chart, choose the size that corresponds to the largest measurement.

The wig I ordered arrived today and what a beauty it is. I have worn wigs for the past 8-10 years and have spent untold amounts of money on units that I liked only marginally  however, I finally hit the jackpot. The wig is Gabor Renew; just the right amount of hair - does not look 'wiggy'.

Also I want to commend you on alterations to the cap. My head is unusually small (ultra petite) and styles in this size are extremely limited. You provide an important service.
